All-New Outlander Leads Mitsubishi to November 2006 Sales Increase: "CYPRESS, Calif., Dec. 1, 2006 -- Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported November sales of 9,256 units, up 4% from last November's total of 8,902.
The increase included the first full month of sales of the all-new fuel-efficient crossover SUV, the Mitsubishi Outlander. Outlander sales closed the month at 1,694 units, up 41.7% from November 2005 volume.
"We're very pleased with the strong launch of the Outlander," said MMNA CEO Hiroshi Harunari. "Customers obviously recognize the vehicle's outstanding styling, performance, and value.""
